Jenny Pritchett
M.Ed., LPC, CSAC, LSATP
Jenny Pritchett earned her Master’s degree in Agency and Addictions Counseling from the College of William and Mary. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC# 0701002824), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Provider (LSATP# 0718000459), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor for the state of Virginia. For the past 26 years, she’s worked with clients with a diverse array of backgrounds; helping them weather life’s storms.
Jenny works with clients of all ages, having trained in a wide range of settings including community clinics, schools, and private practice. Her competence is further bolstered by her knowledge of psychological research and practice developments. Jenny’s commitment to continued learning is evidenced by the advanced training she has received in multiple therapeutic approaches, such as Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she has completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. With this array of skills, Jenny is able to customize effective, evidence-based therapy plans to truly meet the unique needs of his clients.
Jenny aims to facilitate sessions that balance structure and freedom so clients can feel free and safe to explore, express, and heal non-judgmentally. She brings a calming and reassuring voice to life’s obstacles while also recognizing that there is a time and place for humor. Her steady foundation engenders the trust necessary to process the weight and challenge of modern living.
