Depression

Depression is a serious but highly treatable condition. If you're experiencing low energy, feelings of hopelessness, changes in appetite, loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed, and sleep disturbances, you may be facing depression. In some cases, particularly in environments where expressing sadness is less accepted—like certain segments of society (such as the military) and among men in the U.S.—symptoms like irritability and forgetfulness can also indicate depression.
