LGBTQIUPK+ Issues
We recognize the unique challenges that our LGBTQIUPK+ clients face, including higher rates of mental health issues stemming from specific stressors within the community. Many seek support for concerns such as gender dysphoria (where one’s internal gender identity and expression differ from their assigned gender at birth), sexual identity issues (like questioning or exploring sexual and romantic attractions), and mental health struggles like depression and anxiety due to discrimination. We also understand the importance of intersectionality, acknowledging that clients may belong to multiple communities, each bringing its own set of challenges that can impact their journey. Our therapists are here to meet you and your family wherever you are, providing guidance and support at every stage.
